So let me start off by eliminating two things you can take off the list. Those are aperture and ISO. Aperture, I really can't tell you what to set it on because it depends on the type of look you are going after.With a shallow depth of field or not. And the other one is ISO. ISO is kind of there for exposure how how you are going to set the exposure. I will say you do not want go too far north of let's say 1600 especially on like the Canon T2i then it gets really noisy. Obviously you are going to need to use aperture along with the ISO to get the right exposure but at least it gets you in the ball park. Those two ingredients are taken off the list. So the first I can tell you about what is on the list is shutter speed. Basically if you are going for a "filmic" look you are pretty much going to double your frame rate, so if you are shooting 24 frames per second you are going to want a 1/50th of a second shutter speed and if you are shooting at 60 frames per second you are going to go with 125th frames per second shutter speed. Now I will tell you it's just kind of a guideline and a rule but I have shot at much higher shutter speeds and it has worked wonderful, especially if you are shooting something like myself which is just ...

This 18-55mm is a standard zoom designed exclusively for the Digital Rebel and features optimized coating to minimize ghost images and flare.

If action photography is your specialty, the Rebel XT offers a continuous shooting mode that captures as many as 14 images as fast as three frames per second (with shutter speeds of 1/250 second or faster.) The camera offers a shutter speed range from 1/4,000 to 30 seconds, and a bulb x-sync at 1/200 seconds. Best of all, it features an ultra-fast 0.2 seconds startup time, a shutter release lag of 100 milliseconds, and viewfinder blackout time of 175 milliseconds -- all of which means that you'll always be on top of the action.

Despite its wealth of advanced features, the Rebel XT is also one of the easiest, and most user-friendly digital SLRs you'll find anywhere. Its compact design -- 4.98 x 3.71 x 2.63 inches (W x H x D) -- and weight (less than two pounds) means that the camera body will fit snugly in your hands. The EOS Digital Rebel XT has a newly developed high-precision seven-point autofocus (AF) system for speedy and accurate focusing in any situation. You can easily choose your own point of focus or direct the camera to choose it automatically. You can even use predictive AF to ensure that moving subjects stay focused while you compose your shot. A number of additional automatic setting and shooting modes -- including Portrait, Landscape, Close-up, Sports, Night Portrait, and Flash Off -- allows you to concentrate on your subject and leave the camera to sort out the details. A redeye reduction via a built-in illuminator keeps your face shots on track, and USB 2.0 connectivity for both PC and Macintosh lets you upload your images with ease and without the need for additional software. The camera also supports direct printing with PictBridge compatible printers. Prior to the competition starting (May 13th, 2011) we were only allowed to gather cast, crew and equipment. No creative work prior to that start time was permitted. I've been meaning to test every lens in my collection with the Okii follow focus so this was a good excuse to put another lens to the test. The results are a mixed bag. After working with the Okii usb follow focus for a few months I've kind of soured to the idea of using it as a follow focus. The 3 step settings work well with some lenses but not with others. You can edit the source code to set the step size up for each lens, but when you're filming this isn't a very handy option. I still love the control over the camera that the Okii usb follow focus gives you. But I end up bring my mechanical follow focus with me when I travel. Meaning now I have 2 peaces of gear where before I only had one. To the defense of the Okii follow focus, the noise levels in the video are in large part due to my canon 7d. If you get more then 4 feet away from the camera you probably wont notice the lens motor that much. Also there is a little bit of shake in the test. This is because I have the Okii mounted on an arm attached to the Rig and I bumped it a few times while turning the knob. If you find the results to be what you're looking for then the Okii usb follow focus might be a good options, if not, you might want to consider a mechanical follow focus instead. The Letter | Canon Rebel T2i short film in 4k resolution Video Clips. Duration : 4.40 Mins.

Read the description! I shot this film in 1080p 24fps with a Sigma 30mm f1.4 EX lens, and decided to see how the quality could compare to RED cameras and 35mm cameras. Since Red Cameras shoot at 4096x2304 and since 35mm film is the same equivalent in terms of resolution, I used filters to achieve that resolution to see how close it would compare. The first filter I used is called "Instant HD" by Magic bullet. This interpolated the 1080p footage to 4k. The second filter I used was a denoiser by Magic bullet. Then, I added an Unsharp mask of 100 and a sharpness of 8. Finally, I finished it by adding my own grain in Magic Bullet Looks. Although youtube re-compresses it to hell, the raw 4k render is how the film would look if it were ever shown in a theater. I think it turned out pretty good, especially for an 0 camera
